Crossing my fingers for 1st week of August

It sounds like there's still a backlog due to the dock worker's strike, which explains why it took so long for Desparate Allies and the Beginner's box to hit the shelves. I hope that doesn't happen for this book.

I expect they planned on having the book and the kit at GenCon, which means it should be available at the same time (first of august/last of July) or shortly thereafter.

I already booked a helicopter to take it to the boat. Anyone need a book let me know? I have a back pack that can fit at least 3

dock workers strike!?!? all I hear about on the news is some jerk who thinks he is muslim shooting people or blowing people up and how terrible the treaty with iran is! I hate the news!

anyways when was this strike? did it end?

It ended back in January (February?) but the backlog from the slowdown was still rippling - we think - as late as June-ish. I know that there were some issues for the fruit growers in Eastern Washington shipping their goods due to the backlog and Beginner's box/Desperate Allies took an exceptionally long to clear the boat.

So while we don't know for certain, all the signs point to "Trouble at the docks at the beginning of the year are messing us up in July". Fortunately it seems to have cleared up.

(Also, technically, it wasnt a strike. It was a work slowdown - a different beast all together)
