I agree, need more high-caliber opponents...but we just had a tourney scheduled sunday: only one other guy showed up. So I didn't get any new acrylic tokens as we couldn't play. Anyway, I trounced him twice, handily. It's still fun to play, but I would like some more challenging battles.

I think at that point you need to be less focused on winning and more focused on building your group

Now I am ready to get my game on even though I still have some plans with my son. Of course when he is back in school I will be far more available for games.

That's just how gaming works every year.

Also why does a thread staring the isd, that is currently having a debate about weather rhymer bombers or all vsds will win in a fight need tarkend? I thought it sounded pretty good all ready in my opinion

Already teaching two other X-Wing fans the game. They just don't have the cash for Armada yet.

I also spent a good half hour with the guy above trying to help him refine his list and better understand how it plays.

As for the supposed off-topic: we don't know much on the ISDs; so discussion naturally goes to how a large ship may or may-not be used effectively...sounds reasonable to me
