The primary reason I visited this community, hell the primary reason I bloody well BOUGHT the game(!), is the thought of painting the mini's.

I've only recently gotten back into painting after a 25 year absence and took the plunge with the X-wing mini's.

Thanks to this community (and the x-wing painting community, also gone) and the wonderful efforts from everyone here I feel pretty confident I can tackle a "blank" mini and not have it come out looking like I'd painted it wearing three sets of mittens.

At the moment, I'm not even playing the game with anyone as between family life and work it's too much of a challenge consistently bringing it to a table to get the best experience out of it. I'm hoping once the boy is old enough he'll be into Star Wars and I can get him hooked on this and X-wing.

No nerd-rage here, but if they want to get rid of the sub-forum, that's their decision. I'm happy to go to Reddit and start a thread there, but I'd be surprised if I poke my head in here as often going forward.

Well done everyone on the legal team (if that is indeed true), you've done nothing but reinforce your stereotype. *slow clap*
