This is the best pun because it took me so long to get.

If you look on the Miniatures forum page, all three Star Wars miniature games lost their painting/customization subforums. I just looked at a post that originally was posted to our painting forum, and it has been migrated to the main X-Wing forum.

My guess is some kind of request from Disney/LFL caused FFG to eliminate the customization forums...

Huh... I only really ever saw the pictures. I would scroll through them and ignore all the text.

Man, that kind of sucks. The X-wing and IA painting forums were my favorite ones. Now I gotta scroll through all that PWT hate on the main page just to see some cool ships...

Like someone else said, makes it tough to scroll to the paint content when it's buried in the lame complaining posts. If it was a directive from the top, it was a mistake. Nothing sells unnecessary ships like the desire to customize one more paint job.

Personally I'm a fan of fewer sub-forums. I hate trying to decide if I should post in a sub-forum that doesn't seem very active and hope someone sees it or post on the main forum and get yelled at for not posting in a desolate sub-forum.

Herm... the threads all seem to be on the main page, so they didn't even delete the content in there.

It's okay, most people who paint their ships don't do better than the pre-existing paint jobs.

The painting sub forum was neither desolate nor inactive.

Maybe the reasoning is exactly the opposite - they see the interest in the painting posts and want to drown out the negative voices concerning everything that's wrong with the game in the main forum.

Whatever the reason, I want the paint forum back!

As someone who used the paint subforum more than the main one, I kinda want it back.

I just sent them a message complaining about this.
