Any news/pics from X-Wing Miniatures booth at San Diego Comic-Con?

By PaulTiberius, in X-Wing

I noted in the "B-roll" footage (sponsored by Verizon!!) of the Star Wars presentation at San Diego, that there was a big FFG X-Wing Miniatures display booth on the convention floor.

I remain curious that no one on this forum has mentioned it, posted any new pics, reported on any hints they might have gleaned from talking to the folks there, etc.

So, was anyone here lucky enough to go to San Diego? Got anything to share?

They all signed non-disclosure agreements and were given Wave 7 products. Photos or talking about it result in Ninja Assassins being dispatched to your home

It is common knowledge that most rooms already have a ninja in them, you just can't see them.

Not in my room! A nice man sold me a special rock a few years ago that was guaranteed to repel ninjas--and since then, there's been no sign of ninjas at all.

Right! Also, keep on watching the monitor of your PC, and don't worry, the thing behind you it's just your shade...

I read on the upcoming page that the Ninja are on the boat! I think that should give us a good head start.

My Six Demon Bag repels all ninja(s).

They had Wave 7 models in the display case, but no news/spoilers.

They did bring their awesome Death Star play surface with magnetized turret mounts to demo on, though.

I wouldn't mind them selling a decent death star mat (one that doesn't hurt your eyes and brain like the GF9 one) and a pack of well made turbolaser turrets with official rule cards

I imagine if the FFG X-wing mat sells well then i have no doubt that a death star surface will be next.

Hopefully they will make a nice turret box set too

I like how you linked to the very thing that was quoted as a bad example of death star turbolasers...

No he didn't. He linked to GF9's turbolaser turret models, which are pretty sweet (if pricey). The thing quoted as a bad example is GF9's Death Star surface mat, which is so busy it is hard to see asteroids and such.

I didn't see that. Why are they a bad example?
