This started mostly as a joke, but is looking more and more reasonable all the time.

Kyle and Jan shoot at PS 12 and 10 respectively. Kyle fires a 4 ATT Blaster turret with focus and reroll at PS12. Plenty of Range coverage with 2 TLTs. You don't have to fly in formation, just be within Range 3 of the other dirty birds.

Also, if you've never tried R2-D2 crew on a HWK-290 then you're missing out. Little fella recharges so many shields throughout a match it just isn't funny. Bit of a gamble though, you sure don't want to flip up that munitions failure crit.

Seems like a lot of fun. I mean, it doesn't have to be top tier to have fun, right?

How about putting swarm tactics on Jan instead of vi? Then you can shoot 12 12 6 or 12 12 4.

This configuration gives me an uncomfortable-ness... I have a buddy who loves the HWK, I might point him in this direction, much to my chagrin

I like the 4 dice PS 12 Blaster Turret. You kind of negate a PWT's advantage by being able to hit them at range 3. Usually when flying a HWK, you end up try to chase one down and they simple boost out of your firing range.

You know what, its not a half bad squad. The Twin Laser Turret is really going to breath life into the HWK.

I must be missing something, I do not see how you are getting that jab and Kyle shoot at 12 and 10. When I put this into the build tool I see Jan at 10, Kyle at 6 and Roark at 4..
