Ive been thinking about this for some time now and,though I rarely post on the forums Ill do so now.I started this game in 07 and the reason was because I was tired of the imbalence of naruto(which I played before) and the idea of being able to play with my favorite character and always have them out interested me greatly.Characters like sakura and mina(no not seong mina) as well as having many others kept me inerested.I like anime and people who know me would understand but now in this format there is no character that actualy interests me now.I hate the whole shadowar thing and with all the sw promos comming out and taking the spots from the games that we love it just makes it worse.Knowing the character line up for next set even furthers my lack of interest even though i am a sc4 fan. Just hopin that it gets better and a slow down on all the goofy looking shadowar character promos and more from actuially real games like street fighter and samurai showdown.Also as most bpeople would agree the art sucks and i wish that they would get mor udon,imaninary friends,and glass house graffix to do the art.Other than that the game seems fine with balance and all and I have now complaints about that.

Be patient. Soul Calibur IV has 5 new characters and likely 3 or 4 new chars to match Tekken. Try researching the games. I've always thought KOF was a Street Fighter rip off, but now I cosplay as Terry Bogard frequently , and Yoshitora is my hands-down favorite UFS character ever.

Have you read all the background stories? Lots of very interesting, unique personalities. However, ShadoWar has and always will be a love-or-hate thing. As far as getting older licenses back, again, be patient. We won't likely know until next set what we'll be getting. They've said REPEATEDLY that Street Fighter has saturated our game. IIRC, only 3 set releases was there not a SF set. We've had a billion and one Chun-Lis, Cammys, and Ryus. Believe me, with NEWFS, I'm SOOOOOO interested in how they're going to make the SF/KOF/SS/DS characters.

But, be patient. Some licenses must renew, some have to wait, and, again, try getting interested in who we actually have. Even if the ShadoWar characters don't interest you, they're generally pretty **** good!

Unfortunately, FFG is a business, and UFS isn't exactly a premier money-making business. We've lost holos, had price increases, lost set releases, and prime time artists because of monetary setbacks. Sacrifices must be made in order to keep this game, the biggest one likely being the rotation (that I was in favor of, anyways).

Udon, as far as I know, is not ALLOWED to draw anything except for Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, because they have rights to those character's portrayals. Also, every art we have by Udon was already published in a comic; I can't think of any art made specifically for this game, but hey, I hate Udon, so maybe they did?

Imaginary Friends, as far as I am to understand, is likely the most expensive. Remember, these guys animated The Powerpuff Girls!

Glasshouse Graphics sucks. It sucks hard, and it sucks long, so I'm sooooo glad we don't see them too frequently.

I know to be patient and ive read one shadowar bio and had to stop before i threw up because the writing was so bad.Just wondering if any one felt like this is all.And as for the next set like i said,already know the characters that are in it so itll be a while before my interests are peeked.aS FOR THE EXPENCES AND artists i know that those companys are expensive but what i was saying was it would be nice to see more work from them.thanks.

Sucks to hear that you are struggling to find a draw to the game. You are one of the best players I know, and we need to kick ass and bring team LAG (you know what it stands for) into infamy.

I know I am 'hoping' Amy is released in the next Soul Cal. And I'm optimistic we will see some more SNK and/or Street Figher before Easter. That said, I understand your position, it isn't easy, what with an ugly a$$ tUrd and mask wearing wrestlet topping the tiers, and don't make me let out Zi Mei's knickname (I won't do it).

hmmm... worst case you can take a break, best you find a character you like (Hilde is actually pretty fun, so is Nina if you enjoy frustrating your opponent).

my opinion about shadowar is that i like the cards and what they do. i just don't like shadowar's story concept (but then again i will admit, i look to see fighting game characters as my deck choice for this game....and penny arcade...something to identify with you know?)

also the artwork for tekken is HORRIBLE. but i learned to accept it just for the fact that these are tough times and as much as they would love to hire the better art companies, they must also hope that they actually produce something for us. i just wish whoever is doing the artwork for Tekken 6 would take some classes in human art because lets be honest...anna and nina look like garbage. LOOK AT THEIR NOSES AND CHEEKS

I do agree that Street Fighter did saturate this game but also it is the biggest fighting game out there. many people identify UFS with Street Fighter cards a lot of the time. I'd like to see at least 1 Street Fighter set for the newfs but instead of the ryu, ken, chun, cammy mix up, they should hit more untouched or unexplored characters...or maybe some failed characters. example, Twelve: no one used him. Oro: Hasn't been printed. Q and Necro: Only released as promos.

Ok back to class.
