In X-Wing, if you buy the non-starter X-Wing and Tie Fighters, you get cards that you don't get from the starter set, which is a good incentive to buy them. Do the Nebulon, CR-90 and Victory Class Star Destroyers individual packages have cards that are different from the ones you get for them for the starter set as well?
Quick Question Regarding Non-Starter Set Ships
yes
Each ship has 2 more titles for that class of ship not found in the starter. Plus the Victory and CR90 have new commanders for your fleets. Plus there are some other general upgrades only found in those packs (flight controllers, x17 turbolasers etc).

in addition, the upgrades found in Wave 1 Armada are far more influential than the now seldom seen upgrades in the wave 1 fighter expansions. The titles taking the place of named pilots has a lot to do with that, but so to do the incredibly influential upgrades (flight controllers, raymus, and intel agents being favorites of mine)
Awesome. Thanks for the quick and helpful replies!
You still get upgrade cards that are from the core but they balance them out by adding extra cards. Such as the Assault Frigate having Enhanced Armaments, the Gladiator having Assault Concussion Missiles, etc

Pet peeve.
They are XI7 (xi7) turbolasers, not X17
x17 is easier to say
x17 is easier to say
X 17 vs 11 7
To each their own
It's OK, say X17. I will just smile and say xi7.
It also makes sense because all the named turbolasers are Roman numerals and then a number
x17 is easier to say
Not really...?
Also, we are typing. ![]()
X I seven or X seventeen or X one seven, none of it matters
its true name is "**** your vsds"
