Hello fellow Imperial players,
I'm fairly new to the game (a few months), and have had trouble getting in consistent play. I've racked up maybe less than 10 games so far but can't stop building lists to hopefully try something new. But given the lack of time that I get to play, I was wondering if I could posts some lists for other players to look at and let me know if they're worth trying or if they're so bad I should scrap them and go with something else...all in the name of using my limited time efficiently.
The first list I wanted to bring up was a list using Bombers, which I just recently picked up so I haven't even gotten to fly them yet.
Imperial 100pts
Colonel Jendon; ST-321 Title, Weapons Engineer - 32
Gamma Squadron Bomber; Cluster Missiles, Concussion Missiles - 26
Gamma Squadron Bomber; Cluster Missiles, Concussion Missiles - 26
Dark Curse - 16
The point here is to take the first turn or two having Jendon target lock anything he can and shifting the locks to the bombers so they don't have to use their actions to do so, at least for the first salvo. Then once it gets in close range it'll all depend on what's happening. Dark Curse of course is to cause problems and get in the way.
The only thing I can think to do differently is change out the Engineer for Vader, as the bombers and lambda can slow crawl the first two turns to set up the locks in which case I don't really need to be doing two locks a turn. Then with Vader on board I still have a "Doomshuttle" to play with after ordinance is cleared.
All help is greatly appreciated, and if things go well I'll be sure to add more lists!
