I was looking at wave 7 this morning because of Amazon prime day and it also says 7/31 from a few shippers.

I've played epic once in over a year of playing X-wing. I think 1 will do.

Got mine preordered from lgs already and the 3 advanceds all painted up and ready. Just need the raider for the last advanced and a title and I'm good

I highly doubt 2 weeks. Maybe more like four unless they loaded them on a ship that can do the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs (equivalent to 4 weeks). And I won't be getting the one I preordered for a while as I got it with Wave 7 and that's still at the printer.

can't imagine buying more than one, though, unless you're running 8 Advances. Me, I'd rather run 4 advances and 8 ties, so every advance will get its own mini-mauler and mini-stabber

No, amazon is not saying anything. Funagain games is saying 2 weeks. A 3rd party seller who has no inside information whatsoever and is known for just putting random dates on their pre-orders.

Ha, I am in *exactly* the same situation. I painted the advanced myself so when I get the raider and paint that advanced they will all match. I can't wait to try the 4 tempest squadron build.

Also, I've been giving it a lot of thought lately. Barring seeing them pull some crazy BS in play that I'm just not forseeing right now, I don't think four of advanced's are going to be good. I'm wondering if FFG did four copies of X1 so that you would have your two or three to play with, and have one or two to sell or give away.

Four X1 Advanceds will be putting out some heavy damage, combined with pretty decent dials. I wouldn't write them off.
