Dark Disciple [SPOILERS]

As expected, much better writing...

So I'm having a hard time getting engaged with the book. I'm really just going through the motions here until Aftermath drops.

Speaking of . . . .

Given that what is described in Aftermath is a slightly modified version of a description of the event in X-Wing: Iron Fist we knew the celebration was premature before The Phantom Menace came out.

I thought this one was fair overall, but I'm realm not looking forward to Aftermath anymore after seeing the bits they've previewed.

I'm not going to buy it - I'll check it out from the library - so it will be worth exactly what it costs me!

Okay, they had an epiphany a few moments later that assassinating a head of state is wrong (which it is)

Why is it wrong? I could understand it being considered wrong in peace time or in a state where the head of state had no military authority but that wasn't the case here. In the preview not only is Dooku shown as controlling the CIS military he is shown personally leading an attack fleet in the book. If he's not a legitimate target who is?

I believe the Jedi came to the conclusion that Assassination is wrong. Regardless of the target. It goes against the core of their code. It really showed you how far the Jedi had fallen.
