Hi all

I'm a complete dunce when it comes to making decks...

Does anyone have a simple to use and thematic/flavorful deck for the Angmar cycle?

I just picked up the Lost Realm and the First adventure pack, I also have the core set, Khazad Dum, and Numenor. Plus the entire Shadows of Mirkwood Cycle, and Darrowdelf cycle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you specified thematic/flavorful I'm not sure you can necessarily be helped, especially if top are specifying that it match the theme of the cycle. If you're just looking for thematic in general, then look around the forums for Dwarf or Silvan decks. If you can put aside the thematic restraint then something like "One Nightmare deck to Rule Them All" which you can probably find on the first page of this forum.

I would try with a nice powerful dwarves deck to feel the quest.

I did it with monotactics Theoden deck, but you should buy some more APs to gather all the main cards in that deck. According to the pool you mentioned, try a Noldor superpowerful deck, with Elrond/Vilya, plus his sons or maybe Glorfindel.

Elladan and Elrohir worked quite well for me for two of the three quests, I played that with Eowyn, but Glorfindel should be just as good. Note of caution: I couldn't get the second quest done with that line up. Could be the my playing, could be a sub-optimal deck, or the lack of lore hurts too much. Overall, I have the feeling that if you want to beat new quests with not quite top tier decks (which thematic ones tend to be) you have to build to the quest at least a litte.
