Stealthy Beakhee

By Montresor2, in CoC Rules Discussion

In this card from the Asylum Pack "Summoning of the Deep" it's written the next text:

Response: after Stealthy Beakhee commits to a stoory, choose an opponent's character with an Arcane icon. That character cannot commit to the same story as Stealthy Beakhee.

What does it happen if the character is already commited to the story, must it be removed from the story?

Thx.

you commits, use the response, opponent cannot commit. end of stroy (sort of).

Urban is correct, you simply denies that a character cannot commit to the same Story as Byakhee... the Response doesn't let you to remove an already commited character.

It's a Response that would be played in your own turn to avoid oposition to the same story your Byakhee is.

Regards!

Thx. That's what seems more logical to me but it generates a little bit of confusion because the card doesn't have the text " in your turn " like other cards, what leaves the door open to use it when defending.

Regards.

When defending you could avoid that a Character with arcane and the Military Bike attached or the new Twila Katherine use their ability to re-assign to the story wich Byakhee is commited gui%C3%B1o.gif
