The one thing I am trying to do with Realmworks isuse the players cellphones as exra screens so I can just push player view stuff directly to them.

Let us know how that works. I'm just thinking about it right now as a writing tool & organizer, buuut...

I tried this once with a different system it was a horrible mess. Get a bunch of IT guys together at the table and encourage them to keep their phones out and they're gonna do it....

I haven't tested it in play. The problem is I have not found an Android app that allows me to use more than 1 secondary monitor. Idisplay for.apple allows you to link up to 30+ devices as screens. Of course encouraging people to play on their phones could backfire.

After messing around with Onenote for a while, I've decided to go with that to replace the 3-ring binder (since it basically does exactly that). Also, can't beat the price.

You know... I haven't considered Onenote in a long time. Used to use it when I was the lead tech for keeping up with our team projects, but that was when Onenote was a server based in our building and everyone could access it. There was a lot of flexibility in with it, you just have to think clearly in advance and organize well. I'll install that again for me personally and give it a try... especially since Microsoft is now looking much better on how much disk space they hand out compared to everyone else! Thanks for reminding me of this...

OneNote is definitely an interesting tool as it really does let you organize things in a manner similar to digital notebooks. I've used it in the past for school notes and such and it worked quite nicely for that. So, even though I hadn't considered it, it definitely seems like the perfect replacement to physical notebooks. I believe you can even get it for free on most tablets and mobile devices now as well, which could be very convenient for making the notes and planning things on my desktop but then having access to it on the go while gaming.
