Hey guys im currently playing an imperial line up and currently enjoying playing with a decimator and something else..

However I cannot decide between these 2,

Tie Interceptor

-Soontir Fel

- PTL

- Auto Thrusters

- Royal Guard Tie

- Stealth Device

total 35 pts

OR

Tie Phanton

- Echo

- VI

- FCS

- Advance Cloaking Device

total 37 pts

Ofcourse with the phantom build I lose something out of my decimator but im not too fussed.

Currently both builds

I am 4w 0L each so 8w 0L so far.

IMHO, these are my thoughts

Soontir Fel adv

- High manoeuvrability

- PTL is good for both offensive and defensive

- Range 3 = 5 Dodge dice unless through an asteroid which brings it to 6 dodge dice which on its own is awesome.

- Pilot skill 9

Soontir Fel disadvantage

- No shield, takes crits head on

- Weak against Vader

Echo adv

- High manoeuvrability

- adv cloaking device gives 4 dodge dice

- De cloaking provides multiple opportunity to get behind targets and arc dodge

- with VI 8 pilot skill

- Has shield to defend against single or double crits hits

Echo disadvantage

- can sometimes be predictable to where you are going to de-cloak and manoeuvre

- Vulnerable against pilot skill 9+

- due to expensive phantom, less points to spend on Decimator (not a ship weakness just my opinion)
