They look pretty good with there standard paint job but being a guy who likes to paint miniatures. (Warhammer + 40k)

I thought I would give these a spruce up just to give them a bit more character and so they can look a bit more awesome on the battle field.

So here is what I have done.

So with the Tie Fighters I just went over all the grey parts with the Citadel wash Nuln Oil, let that dry off then went over with the Citadel paint Abaddon Black on the solar arrays on the wings.

Then with the Phantom here I dry brushed on the back with Citadel paint The Fang which gave it a nice dark blue tone just like it shows on the "Echo" player card, then after that had dried a little I

went in with Citadel paint Caledor Sky to start the outline for a few lighting bolts to show as if it is about to cloak, then I followed the same lines I had just done but with the Citadel paint Ceramite White.

I hope you guys like what I've done, I'm planning to do this sort of thing with all the X-wing models that I use, and also I'm going to try and do something with the bases but I'l have to look into a few things.

Any feedback would be great, again thanks for looking.
