I really like Scum - something I didn't expect at all. Here's a quick list a threw together. I want to fly these three together so here's how I tried to make it work. Biggest problem is Kath's lack of upgrades right now. I could take away from Guri, but I'm hoping this way all three are a potent threat.

I think the basic idea is sound, but the upgrades could use some switching around.

N'Dru feels like too big a target for only being a Z. I'd recommend keeping him cheap with just Lone Wolf.

Guri is good, but maybe consider Adv Sensors instead of FCS, as the Starviper's dial is so nice, getting to do actions and also S-looping is great. Also, Calculation could be good on her with her free Focus at range 1.

Kath could stay reasonably cheap with PTL + K4 droid and gain some tanking ability.

I've run Kath with K4, VI and EU and she kicks ass. I also love n'dru, but I've never flown a starviper so I can't really help there.

I agree that a little upgrade movement would help.

Inertial dampeners will be more useful on Kath. Also, she really needs engine, so I'd suggest dropping clusters for it.

If running Guri on the cheap, autothrusters plus EPT is better than getting a system. I would say either predator or Push the Limit in place of the FCS

Thank you for the tips! I don’t want to remove cluster missiles because they seem so potent in a 2 ship meta – but they are situational so I dropped ‘em. In order to bring in EU, I had to significantly downgrade Guri in option 2. I haven’t tried this combo yet, but I wonder if SoT and Outlaw Tech can still give Kath some movement options to keep a target within her firing arc. That option runs a lot cheaper and still lets me kit out Guri.
