ln the Movement step it says that Byr, Forest Warden Ally may take one Stanima so the Hero can use a single movement die to move into two spaces, the spaces need not be adjacent. How is this played, is it like this, if say you rolled one die which had a road, plains & hills on it, you moved to hills first on your second move do you move to hills again or can you move to any of the three areas.

I would say you can take any of the three symbols each time. Basically, pretend you had two of that die to use for movement. The thing about not being adjacent simply means you can use other dice in between the two copies of this die that you have available while moving.
