I am a first time painter, but I think I did a pretty good job. I was very impressed with the results. I mixed dolphin grey, blue, and a bit of black to get a imperial-esque blue. Here is the final product!

They look nice, I prefer subtly with Imperial paint jobs. Many people tend to get a little too colorful with their Imperial units for my tastes. To me the Empire is all about uniformity, the Rebels are the ones who should have fleets of uniquely painted ships.
