Sniper Dash

I've been working on a build that makes a 360 degree, unobstructed, 5-6 dice Heavy Laser. Here's what I've been thinking so far

Leebo-55

-Outrider, Opportunist, HLC, Dash, and Stealth device

Jan Ors-30

-Ion Turret

Prototype Pilot-15

-Chardaan Refit

So we have the heavy hitter with a 4-5 dice potential that can shoot through anything, and 3 defense dice. Jan Ors boosting the cannon to 5-6 dice, with a close range 360 Ion Turret for additional protection for the Outrider. And a small A-wing running interface and trying to block ships from coming too close to Jan and Leebo.

Obviously this won't work for competitive play, but I'm open for suggestions on how to make it better. Thank you

I'd go with Expose over Opportunist for something like this personally. Yeah you lose an agility but now it's guaranteed 5 dice. Problem is going to be getting a Focus TL as well to maximize the damage output. Any defender with less than a combined value of 6 or less for HP and agility would be instantly destroyed (if you roll 6 hits that is). Remove Stealth for EI and now you've got some more options.

I'd go with Expose over Opportunist for something like this personally.

Expose only affects the Primary weapon value.

both expose and opprotunist are incredibly janky on a YT-2400, especially the outrider. Getting into range 1 is going to be laughably easy with stress and not being able to perform actions whilst going through or sitting on obstructions (can attack, sure; can't do actions)

if by some trick of uncommon circumstances Leebo manages to fire off 6 dice, the attack will be a complete unmodified crapshoot.

my advice is just forget the 6 dice and make super Dash the pilot (he's 54 points without EU or any other modifications). 5 dice with mods are far more reliable and will probably do far more damage (will have mods and actually be able to shoot because it won't be as easy to exploit the doughnut-hole)
