All Whales All the Time Build

The idea is to keep moving and use speed to my advantage and keep the enemies at range 2-3. Depending on the mission card selected (assuming I win initiative) I would have one whale feint towards them alone and then break off to regroup with the other two and then just circle strafe.

If you're going purely ship to ship, there are two essential upgrades

1. Ea because every shot counts. X17s are nice, but I noticed enemy capital ships still end up redirecting most of the damage Unless you have squadrons pile onto the hull zone

2.) Intel Officer. Defensive tokens are the bane of low volume of attack fleets and you'll need to punch through braces.

Gunnery team will join once Akbar is released, not so much before

Dodonna is actually better in this situation I think because you are going to keep at range and you only have the 1 per ship.

I think currently Advanced Projectors is amazing. It counters the heavy XI7 Turbolasers builds I have been seeing.

I was pondering Advanced Projectors and will probably switch them out for ECM. The problem with Intel Officer is it is too expensive and I am not going to drop XI7 Turbos for them because I have experienced too much value in them. I like the Defense liasons because I dont have to worry about picking my commands since the only ones I will be using are Concentrated Fire, Navigate and Engineering.

I agree that if I can stay at range 3 Dodonna is better but I am not going to kid myself that will happen which is why I am going with Mothma.

Every gunnery team up there could (and should) be an Intel officer

Without token generation ala garm or tantive iv, I find liaisons lame.

I'd keep ecm. You don't want acc rendering your MM single evade useless

Against rebels I find ECM's useful. Against the horrid amount of GSD's out there, we'll Advanced Projectors are amazing.
