Yes.

That is the difference between assigning focus and performing a focus action.

Also, it's one of the reasons that Soontir Fel is so bloody hard to kill.

Same as if he shoots a rebel captive, you gain a stress and another focus token.

If you were then shot by a ship with tactician, at range 2, you'd get another stress and another focus token.

I know the timing of those is different. If I remember correctly rebel captive stresses you during the attack so he can use the focus that attack whereas tactician triggers after the attack so you don't gain the focus for defense.

I haven't played much and interceptors weren't in my list before. I'm understanding you can do the focus, focus, evade, stress on each turn.

After the first turn execute a green maneuver to remove the stress than (perform action) focus, (ptl to) evade and (soontir) focus + stress again.

As long as it is clearly understood that the second focus isn't a focus ACTION but just being assigned a focus token. A mire technical way to out it would be

Perform a focus action to gain a focus token,

Use PTL to perform an evade action, gaining an evade token

Receive a stress token for using PTL

Trigger soontir's ability to gain a focus token whenever you receive a stress token.

Net result, you have 2 focus tokens, 1 evade and 1stress token.
