Can you give me some advice what to buy at start? I am playing with Cleric so I have 316 thrones at the start.

First I wanted to buy:

Hand Cannon (65)

Mono upgrade (40)

Red-Dot Laser Sight (50)

Flak Jacket (100)

Total: 255

So I have a bit to buy some grenades and ammo.

After some time I chose:

Flak Jacket (100)

Mono Upgrade (40)

Photo-Visors/Photo-Contacts (100)

Total: 240

And as first I left some for ammo and grenades.

What variant do you think is better and can you recommend something else?

All this depends on the:

1. What is y our character

2. What will be the first mission ? At least from the perspective of a character ?

3, MAIN. What your GM will allow you.

Is your character combat oriented? If so I would go with the first layout (Although I am biased towards handcannons, particularly the Carnodon)

If you're going more as a support role I'd recommend the second layout.

Although something you may want to consider, what kind of armour do you have? Can you afford better armour? Do you have a helmet of some sort? Literally my first fight my Arbitrator was hit in the head 3 times, I was extremely glad I had purchased a Mesh Cowl at the start of the adventure.

You're a priest. Why are you wasting precious thrones on something silly like a flak jacket when you should be spending every last measly throne on prometheum? Let the rest of the party wear armour, your faith is your shield, your beard your body armour and your bald noggin' the light that shines in the deepest dark. And if the darkness gets too deep, well, that's what several thousand litres of fast-burning incendiaries are for.
