I took Rear Admiral Chiraneau with Engine Upgrade, Gunner, and Determination (56 points) escorted by "Whisper" with Advanced Cloaking Device, Veteran Instincts, Gunner, and Fire-Control System (44 points) to a Summer Kit Tournament and found out that I simply cannot fly Decimators! I could not hit with Chiraneau even with using Gunner! In the first game, RAC only ever stripped one shield off one ship! That was all he did! In the next two games, YT-1300 freighters would prove to be an even match for my Imperial warship, and in the last game, my Decimator lost all 4 shields and took 6 damage in the enemy's opening salvo!

I honestly do not think that I will ever fly a Decimator ever again - and I, unfortunately, have two of them! Other people seem to have success with them, but I do not.

Strange format. I would prefer to see the movement and dice rolls rather than a description of what happened off camera. Maybe just set up a tripod.
