Missing Species

By sorednax, in Star Wars: Age of Rebellion RPG

So I dropped some $$$ down on both EOTE and AoR, both core rulebooks and various supplements. Now, not all have arrived, but I do see where the EotE core rulebook only have 8 species, and a couple have some more peppered throughout the various supplements.

The species that I don't see (as yet, since a few still haven't arrived) but should definitely be included are:

Rodians (maybe in the eote core book, I'll double check)

Mon Calimari

Ithorian

Sullustian

Gungan

Falleen

AqualishZabrack

Cearen (spelling?)

anybody know if they're included and if so which book/books?

  • Rodians - EotE core

Jawas are also missing.........just sayin'. :P

Also in the Menagerie.

The menagerie is "unofficial" so they are not incorrect saying they are missing.

While it may be "close" and they are somewhat fair, they are in no way shape or form endorsed by FFG.

For people that prefer RAW it would be nice to see a few more "expected" races.

I understand. Just throwing it out there.

I'm quoting you just because your name is "GM Knowledge Rhino"...

My money is on Jawas being in the Technician career book, whenever that comes out.

where is this menagerie???

Is that good or bad?

When I was choosing a "moniker" for my Reddit username my normal name was taken. I wanted to answer questions and display "knowledge". I used a nickname + my intent + my role as GM. With that GM Knowledge Rhino was born. =)

Back on topic: I would like to see Besalisk, Ortolan, Noghri, and Clawdite officially listed.

Edit: added information relevant to the thread.

+1 to Besalisk!

Are the Togruta included in any of the books?

Are the Togruta included in any of the books?

They were in the Force and Destiny Beta, so stands to reason we'll see them in the Force and Destiny core rulebook when it comes out (hopefully) later this month.

It isn't that difficult to pick up on the balancing formula they use for characteristics, the kicker is when you start throwing in starting ranks in skills and race special abilities.

Am I the only one who wants to see Devaronians?
