I see some armor like Desert Skiff Armor that I can't figure out what book it comes from.

Odds are that it's made up. If it's something that you can't trace to a sourcebook or doesn't have a source listed, then safe bet it's a homemade item rather than an official one.

Yeah, I'm seeing several armors there that are either made up by him, adapted from another system, or otherwise aren't in line with published game materials. In some cases the bonuses the armors provide aren't even accounted for in the actual game mechanics...

It's homebrewed. When I first got into the game I homebrewed a bunch of stuff, but later decided that was a bad idea, so I removed that stuff (or thought I had). I actually had forgotten about it, so thanks for the reminder . I will be removing that stuff soon...
