Ok I know Raymus can produce a token of whatever emblem that is on a dial you flip over.

My question is can I use the free token after I flip over the dial?

For example : I have Raymus on An Assault Frigate MK II, and I'm getting ready to attack my opponent. I know I'm getting ready to flip a dial with concentrate fire on it, and I know that Raymus is going to give me a free concentrate fire token from it. Now am I allowed to flip the concentrate fire dial to get the extra dice and then use the token for the reroll at the same time?

After you reveal the dial you get the token. You reveal dials at the start of the ship phase, get the token and then are free to use dial and token as you see fit.

On a related note (as some people have got confused by this before) - you can only perform each command once in an activation, so with Raymus you cannot use the concentrate fire dial to add a dice on your first attack, and then use the token (from Raymus) seperately on your second attack - that would be doing the concentrate fire command twice in a turn.

You can however use just the dial and save the token for a later turn, or combine the dial and token in the same attack.

You make it seem like you're forced into using them both in the first attack. Can't you also declare the command for the second attack? Isn't the only stipulation that when you declare the command that both get used? Therefore: (dial + token or dial ) on 1st or 2nd attack?

That is correct. If you are going to use both the Dial and the Token, you have to do them together ... However , there is NO stipulation that they must be used for the FIRST attack...

Thanks, yeah I meant concentrate fire either attack, but whichever attack you choose if you're going to use the token then you have to use dial and token together

Yes, you can indeed combine both in your second attack - the wording focusing on the first attack was because that is where people would have to use one to commit the error of trying to do it twice in an activation
