Token flood problem

By CaineHoA, in X-Wing

I love my extra tokens. I keep my double letter target locks in a separate bag from my a-z locks. I have a small tackle box with enough shields, ion, crit, focus evade bomb and whatnot for any two lists I choose to fly. The rest are lovingly orginized in bags in a small tin box.

I vote for the tokens as better than the bubble wrap. Both are good but the tokens are star wars, where the bubble wrap is all Red Dwarf.

I restrict my use of the "first world problem" meme to those few and narrow instances where the "problem" boils down to something that their own affluence is causing.

This entire site and nearly every topic is an exercise in first world problems. It pretty much can be assumed as the default reply to just about every thread - thereby making it unnecessary to mention explicitly

I don't know. Any time there is a line of reasoning like "I just bought 12 copies of the IG-2000 and I have no idea what I am going to do with all the extra tokens and cards and stuff. There is just SO MUCH of it. What I am I to do?" it is useful to point out that it is not so much a problem as an inconvenience, at worst.

Sometimes I am not sure things like this are humblebrags or the person is truly exasperated.

You could put them in an envelope and send them to me... As a new player who isn't going to buy a base set(S+V ahoy) ill be needed a ton of tokens (as well as damage deck, asteroids etc)

Through exaggeration you can make any point sound rediculous.
