1 point to make all banks green I am very happy.
I know some were hoping for hard turns but I do bank alot with the defender and this makes PTL a lot more attractive.

TIE Defender and TIE Advanced pilots everywhere are cackling in glee and we speak
4k is still white. I don't think ptl is a good idea. Corran has green banks, but he has regen and the evade action.
I think this is for bombers mostly. It won't hurt defenders, but it can't make up for the gap they need to close. Plus they have better mod options.
It does make the using the Defender's turns an actual option, which I appreciate.
Still, it's +1 point to make an already-overcosted ship slightly more viable, and precludes your ability to take Engine Upgrade.
I think this will shine on defenders, but also and importantly on Tempests with accuracy corrector since it's a super cheap way to upgrade their dial which was their biggest drawback.
Defenders, the Advanced, and the TIE Bomber would all see some benefit from this card. The Advanced goes from 4 greens to 8, the Defender goes from 4 to 10, and the Bomber basically gets the same green maneuver options as IG88. The only negative is that it competes with the Engine Upgrade in the same slot, but it offers unique value and point-savings with it.

I fail to grasp this logic. Engine Upgrade is a +4 point upgrade to make an already-allegedly-overcosted ship slightly more viable. If you're willing to pay four points for a totally unnecessary action why would you be afraid of paying one point to help make the same ship MUCH less predictable when shedding stress?
Twin Ion Engine Mk2 is an awesome upgrade.

Can't wait.
It's a well designed upgrade. It's good but competes for its slot rather than being automatic.
Not sure if it's a fix per se. Would have preferred it at as a title slot to a TIE.

This is where I see it, on generics that don't want to pay a lot for defensive upgrades. It lets them more freely use the short turns for close-in fighting. That being said, I will totally try a PTL/Mk2/Autoblaster Rexler Brath.
2 Deltas and vessery with VI all with TIE upgrade will be my first test I think.

Also, TIE Bombers
Well we do get some cheaper ordnance for bombers.. but the punisher might take that thunder away.
Vessery w/ Opportunist and MK II for 40 points. Let me get 5 dice at range 1 with a TL

I thought of PTL Brath as soon as I saw the card. I hate Autoblaster, but just PTL and MKII might make him a lot more viable.
48 point PTL Rexler with HLC that can TL to mod dice and save focus to crit is gonna tear apart big ships, team him with VI vessery to strip shields and double D is gonna get more play.

It would buff the phantom and also make the punisher annoying with both autothrusters and green banks. Ships need limitations, the ones without them are the ones ruining the game the most, IE Super Dash, Turretwing in general, 4 dice FCS gunner shenanigans, etc.
I'm fine with it being a mod, it buffs all TIE models and is worth a point even on something that only gains green 3 banks out of it. Its cost is mostly the opportunity cost of not being able to take stealth or hull or ACD.
7x Obsidians, 7x Mk II Engines. Excited for that in addition to playable 3x Defender.
True, I was thinking that it'd compete more with the X-1 that every TIE AD will have...

Ones a title. The other is a modification. You can take both.
So who's going to be the first to give Soontir Fel access to green 3-banks?

This is definitely a build option. I tried this out as my first double defender build, but I couldn't really get it to work in practice. Extra greens might be the trick. It does hit the holy grail of getting to use both pilot abilities in the same turn.

Well vessery gets two actions effectively anyway so giving Rexler two ups your options yes you lose hull upgrade but I think the increased damage output makes up for that.
Even if you have to break formation Rexler can still TL for vessery without dropping his expected damage to 1.5.
You've got the tournament experience I'm looking forward to seeing what you do.

Edited: I'm not sure Soontir Troll particularly needs the three green banks, but hey.

I don't think I've ever thought "man I wish my 3 bank was green", while running an Interceptor. I can see those though on maybe Lt. Lorrir w/ ATs and MKII.
The squints with PTL really want Stealth Device over MKII.
Those without actually could use the extra greens, Lorrir particularly.
