Although I have been messing with models for a while now, I'm new to x-wing modification. Since I first saw it played I've wanted to do realistic lighting mods to some of the larger ships. The Rebel Transport was the obvious first choice to me, having lots of irregular shapes and interesting profiles.
I love lighting as I really think it brings the models to life. I hope you agree

I would love to do some lighting mods onmy large & huge ships, but I know itwould probably end in disaster.

Well done! I'm working in a CR-90 lighting conversion, combining white leds on exterior and blue in interiors ( I have tried with red ones, but doesn' t works 
) and I can say that turning on the lights is addictive . This mod looks great on a Rebel Transport.
Amazing! Reminds me of the Nostromo landing on LV-426.
Thanks for all the positive posts guys! MacrossVF1 - a tall stand sounds like a great idea I was going to put lights inside the main body and drill out the windows but unfortunately, the plastic is a little too thin and the whole thing glows like a bulb. It was a bridge too far.... this time
