Bobba like this?

Boba Fett-

Stay on Target

Seismic Charges

Outlaw Tech

Inertial Dampeners

Slave 1

I only have 47 points available in my list. The synergy between Outlaw Tech and SoT should be apparent. The idea is that SoT helps to avoid bumps, keep the maximum targets at range 1 and insure that even if a bump is unavoidable you can change to a red and gain a focus. I would love feedback on the conceptual and if anyone has used a similar build in reality.

That's a cool idea and could work. My concerns are with the following turn when you can no longer use SoT and Outlaw Tech. I suppose you aren't in a worse situation compared to the baseline, but that focus token does come at the cost of some predictability next turn.

That's what "Wingmen" are for...relieves stress :)

So I ran this set up in a tournament today and went 2-1. I was just abysmal in my lost. The worst game I've ever flown. As long as my Wingman kept up Boba was amazing. 3-4 attack dice with 2-3 (typically) re-rolls and a Focus and two green dice with often 2 re-rolls. I really enjoyed flying it.

Boba doesn't like his name being misspelled. He has a reputation to maintain.

It's his cousin Bobba-Ray Fett from southern Louisiana.

Wouldn't it be Bobba-Ray and D-Han?

I actually liked the double star wars/django unchained quip, what can I say? Plus the idea of two dudes in madalorian armor 3-D'n a wookiee is a great mental image.

Not sure what happened there or worse yet why I didn't notice but fixed. Evidently hillbilly name adaptations of Star Wars characters are more worthy of discussion than my original post. :(

Aright aright, now that you've been adequately sassed ;), I'll actually discuss your OP.

I run Boba a lot with good success. The build that I've found I like the best is VI, Navigator, Dampeners, Engine.

I understand not wanting to bump with Bubba Ho-Fett (I'm done, I swear), but the way I think of it is if a ship is bumping, it's not shooting him--but it IS donating a better version of Lone Wolf. Not bad.

Still, bumps can be bad and that's why I like Navigator. I don't end up stressed and can often arc-dodge, leapfrog, or pull controlled bumps.

I do see the value in that combo, but ultimately it's 4 points you're using every other turn at most. Then, you must use one of 4 greens to clear it. That's when you're gonna see Fett hurting. He alternates between being wildly unpredictable and incredibly predictable.

It does make me want to try SoT and Navigator together. Use navigator more often, but if I miss my guess or accidentally fly off the board, I've got a "get out of jail free" card.
