Theory build EXX

By LagJanson, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Corran Horn — E-Wing 35

Push the Limit 3

R2-D2 4

Engine Upgrade 4

Ship Total: 46

Wedge Antilles — X-Wing 29

Ship Total: 29

Biggs Darklighter — X-Wing 25

Ship Total: 25

Untested and sounds a bit crazy. Target priorities get interesting.

It's pretty effective, but a mis-step maneuvering will hose you.

Also, watch out for Oicunn + Vader. You don't have the damage to take down the beast, and you can't regenerate out from beneath 2 guaranteed damage per turn.

Can the X-Wings keep pace with Corran? Or is the initial idea about having Biggs just so that he can protect Wedge?

The E-Wing is basically an evolution of the X. Interestingly, the X's entire dial is present on the E, excepting the Green placements.

The E-Wing has the addition of a 3 Koiogran and a 5 Forward, but you can fly it as though it were an X just fine, and keep it in lock-step.

Of course, the question then becomes whether Corran > 2x Rookie Pilots, if he's pushing the 42 point marker...

I would rather have 2 rookie pilots - the last list I ran on the most recent store championship here in Brazil (only wave 2 allowed, which is basically what has been officially released by Galápagos, the FantasyFlight distributor here) is very similar, with Biggs, Garven and 2 rookies. I got 3rd place, but I messed up hugely on the first game.

You're right. It is similar in idea. So not quite as crazy as it felt. Still won't be flying it likely for a month or more.
