There is too many of them! - Sorry, but thats the idea

They sure did lump a few of them together in their list which I believe is an injustice. I'm sorry but I don't consider all TIEs to be the same nor do I consider all of the "Jedi Starfighters" to merit the same spot either.

I must say I've never even heard of the Mandalorian fighter shown on that list at #10. For anyone who wants here is the list of fighters I can recall seeing in the movies; how many don't make the list?

That the Naboo fighter is even on the list is a travesty.

No way the ARC or jedi fighters are cooler than the A-wing or B-wing

The big problem here is that it lumps the Tie variants all together. Tie Interceptor should be number 1 on it's own merits.

Remember these guys put Cad Bane above Boba Fett. Hard to disagree on the X-wing though.

Unless the goal of the list wasn't to actually list SW's top ten ships, but to enrage a bunch of nerds into talking about a particular website and visiting it to see the travesty for themselves .. in which case, they got me goooooood.

The battle of Endor shows that the Falcon can hang with the best fighters in the galaxy. I would say FFG got it pretty much right.

At Endor the Falcon is shown engaging, outmanoeuvring and chasing down TIE/INs. That suggests to me that from what is shown in RotJ the Falcon in X-Wing is working in line with the lore. Your mileage may of course vary.

Well, in the new cannon there is nothing that says that the TIE Interceptor is faster than the TIE Fighter. In the official site's Database there is not even an entry for the TIE Interceptor its just included just as a new model of the TIE Fighter. The only official difference is that it has 4 cannons.

And when you think about it, when you watch Return of the Jedi the only thing TIE Interceptors do is die Has anybody ever realised this? In the movie you see about 9 TIE Interceptors get destroyed and only 2 TIE Fighter

Then YT-1300s with dogfighting capability should be uniquely limited to the Millennium Falcon title, and all others should be the lumbering hulks they really are.

But, again, being about to outmaneuver a starfighter doesn't make your ship a starfighter.

The Falcon is a cargo ship. It's a very maneuverable and well armed cargo ship, but it's still a cargo ship.
