Some photos of a recent game...

By Lord Ashram, in Star Wars: Armada

If the same Gladiator had both Enhanced Armaments and Expanded Launchers, it was an illegal list, as both of those upgrades have the Modification keyword.

Each ship may have only one Modification upgrade card.

On a side note, those squadrons look awesome! :D

Edit: I just checked the ship card, and the Gladiator doesn't even have a slot for Turbolasers, meaning it can't use Enhanced Armament at all.

Haha Darkblade113, I also checked the Glads ship card after reading this.

Oops!

can Glads even take turbo-lasers?

Im fairly certain it's officer--support team--weapon team--missiles only

anyhow, those are some beautiful squadrons!

Those Y-Wings are about to have some serious fun. Thanks for the awesome pictures. Great photo.

Ah! I didn't even think to check, I was playing with a friend who had only played once or twice and I didn't even mention to keep an eye on the upgrade signs. Well that makes me feel MUCH better.

And the Glad actually outran the Y wings! Since they could only move or shoot, they couldn't really catch up in time to kill him!:)

spam squadron commands. As long as you're in range, you can chase down imps to kingdom come

Great looking squadrons. Did you undercoat them or just paint right onto the plastic? Do you have any tips for taking photos of your models? Mine always look awful.

Hey!

Undercoated white for the rebels, black for the imperials... Then a bit of paint, a brown wash, a quick white highlight, and voila!

As for the picture... The biggest tip? Get a really expensive **** camera:). Seriously though, it was a hand me down from my father in law, a $1500 Nikon that is just really really nice. Oh, and have a nice flash too.

Then work on the depth of field a bit, make sure your white balance is set correctly, and voila!

I hate to say it... It is all about having a nice camera:(

Yeah, that's what I thought. I've been playing with the various settings on my little digital camera but I think I've reached the limit of it's capabilities. Do you use a tripod or any kind of fancy lighting for your photos?
