So is it terrible to think we might not see wave 2 until oct if printing takes longer then a month and shipping is max time frame of 10 weeks.

So amazon looks like they are anticipating to have wave 2 in stock around the end of September, so I think October is reasonable.

I'm used to long lead times. The company I work for imports products from Taiwan, and it's a consistent 6-7 week lead-time until the parts got to use. Although that has absolutely nothing to do with Armada...

It'll give me time to figure out a storage solution for all my fightercraft. 2 Fighter expansions and counting.
Maybe one day I can field all Tie Interceptors instead of the Tie/Ln as the Big E intended...

I'm in with Imperial Assault, X-Wing, and Armada. I'm okay with some gaps between delivery dates.
I think that FFG will have some limited wave 2 at Gen Con, but I might be wrong. If they do I might pick up a MC30, but I'll wait for the rest of my purchases for the much lower prices I can get elsewhere.

I play all four Star Wars games. Im fine with breaks. Wave two IA this month and wave seven XWing in August plus LCG releases leaves me fine with maybe September "off". Plus September is when all the Force awakens toys, book, comics etc starts so I'll need the cash.
Despite not remembering any head trauma or brainwashing that caused me to do so I just bought into 40k 
so the wallet does indeed need to recover. I'm ok with October.
Besides that I don't feel that I've played every good fleet combination with wave 1 yet and look forward to trying out everything I can think of with the existing stuff. This game is deep enough that we have a lot of options with just 5 ships, upgrades, and the squadrons.
Regarding GenCon....if anybody wants to help out a poor Brit and ship me a couple of ships (paid for be me of course!) i'd be very grateful!

Figure on 2+ months 'at the printer', plus what seems to be now 2+ months 'on the boat'. Assuming that Wave 2 just went into manufacturing, that puts us into November at the earliest.

You're assuming that they only updated that status the same day or before they got the printer. For all we know that ball got rolling days or weeks ago. Never say never, but I'm comfortable believing 4th qtr is a good timeframe.
