Interesting .. release date and MRSP (for UK customers)

By Fablar, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Well, looking on IGUK, I came across the following:

RRP: £75.00
Our Price: £67.39 Delivered!
You Save: £7.61 (10 %)
Expected Release Date: 30 October

I can't help feeling that is an optimistic release date (if it was then, I think FFG would be saying "Autumn 2009", rather than just "2009"), and a little disappointed with the RRP (For example Space Hulk is $99 as well, but £58.70 instead of £75).

But .. a release date so i can try it out in November fits in well with me, so I can hope :)

I was just checking Barnes & Noble's website and they have a release date listed too... unfortunately it comes a month later than the one you've found.

While I hope (really really hope) that your release date is the correct one and that B&N is going to get it later - I'm thinking in the US that we're not going to get it until closer to December.

Putting a positive spin on it, it gives me more time to play 2e and Dark Heresy, right?

Regardless, it's coming soon...

Cheaper than what I was gonna pay...

Phantasia also have the UK release as October and is available to preorder for £65.

They also have Adventurers tool kit for same date for £20 and dice pack for £6.99.

As stated - October (even the end) does seem a tad optimistic.
