First thing to remember is that I made this squad for fun and annoyance. 4 Omicron Lambdas and 1 Basic Tie Bomber

Omicron = 10 health

40 health

Tie Bomber =6 health

Total= 46 health the most board space used by ships, and ships that can stop. Lambdas have 3 attack so at range one that is going to be a lot of dice flying at you.

Line up would be a W formation with the lambdas and the tie bomber.

For blocking have the three in back, which ram the first turn then stop then ram and so on to get the blockade to stay stationary.The two in front ram the opponents and do not move. To utilize the most space, the 2 lambda in back are tilted rather than straight on, and the bomber is between them. The whole blockade only works if you ram a ship and force it not to move out of the range.

Instead of having the bomber you can have tacticians on the back lambdas and anti pursuit on the front ones to deal more damage and keep most ships from being able to get out of the fray.

no, but THEY will collect some damage... I ran list calculator if i drop the bomber and ion cannon and tactician on the back two while front two have APL its just watch them burn as they fail to run.

edit which also leaves two points for Int Agents on the front ones or bid

Very cool. Ion and stress are definitely the way to go. You can still put a Flechette cannon on one of the first 2, to real in the targets.

It might not even be that bad!

Imagine 4 Lambdas, all with a tactician, one with Mara Jade and one with Darth Vader... That would pack quite a punch as long as you manage to keep your enemies in front of you.

It would most likely come down to moving the ones in back before the ones in front. They then would move a lot slower, if at all.

This is a blast to fly. I had to go out and borrow some space cows but the effect on the table is priceless.

4 Lambdas with Anti-Pursuit lasers and flechette cannons. Fun for all- gives out plenty of stress and has a little help for quick ships that get in your rear...

I have only played it twice but I went 50/50 with it.

Sounds like a fun squad to annoy my cusson with. He is planning on going a 5 y-wing squad mainly based on auto blasters. The good thing is if you ram him with one guy, then have your other lambda farther back, he can't use it, and cannot get away.
