Xizor List with new Scum ships in August

Messing around with Xwing Theory, I was thinking this list might be pretty solid?

coming in at 100 Points:

Prince Xizor - Star Viper

Vet Instincts, Accuracy Corrector, Virago, Internal Damps.

Black Sun Ace - Kihraxz Fighter

Vet instincts, Internal Damps

Black Sun Ace - Kihraxz Fighter

Vet instincts, Internal Damps

Black Sun Soldier - Z-95

thoughts?

FCS on Xizor, always (when taking VI, otherwise sensors/jammer + predator is real nifty). You're not getting through Soonts and other high agility bastards with a measly two hits.

the aces seem like very expensive ships relative to the amount of beef they give Xizor to hide behind. I'm also don't have much faith in their limited action efficiency, especially when popping dampeners. Whereas Xizor will have FCS' lock to work with, the Special-Ks will only have naked dice to work with.

I don't believe the much higher PS on a decently maneuverable (but definitely not an arc-dodging) ship is worth instead running 3 Marauders (w/3 points left for initiative, flechette torp for PS 9 Xizor stress, or pulse missiles on one of the Special-Ks if you ditch xizor's dampeners)

If you swapped out the Aces for Cartel Marauders you could drop the Z-95 for a third Kihraxz.

Personally, I'd put Autothrusters on Xizor and switch to an FCS. This either leaves one of your Kihraxzes without ID or you drop it off of all of them to take a two point initiative bid.

didn't even notice Xizor didn't have thrusters

they're basically mandatory

I can vouch for the marauders. Have two games so far on VASSAL with Guri (40 pts) backed up by 3 cartel marauders (20 each). It feels pretty **** strong if I do say so myself. Its got lots of attack, decent health and so far the enemy has not been able to take out all three marauders (nevermind Guri! She's a beast in R1 if left to move freely).
