Ok all, since many of us have Friday off. I'm hosting an event for all of us. What I want to do is run an Rpg that culminates in an epic battle.
You will all be on Dantooine. You have just learned that the Death star is on its way to destroy your planet, knowing what it just did to Alderaan.
Players will be different characters that I will have made up beforehand. We will use wotc minis which I will provide. Players will be required to get to the hangar bay to get to their ships and evacuate.
Once all players get to their ships, we will begin an epic space battle. Players will fight against imperial ships for control of the space lane. Turn 3 a rebel transport will show up, and players will be required to escort it to the opposite end of the map safely.
That's the gist of what I would like to do. For the Rpg part, I will provide everything. For the xwing part, players may bring their own materials to use, but I will have a lot to use as well.
I will give more details as the event draws nearer. I'm thinking noon start time.
