Unfortunately, the checkout clerk's "Ring up" action can be used even when stressed, and yours apparently was rocking Push the Limit.
When i worked in retail i had a customer order some camo pattern curtains, i told them we were having a hard time spotting them on the shelf and she just gave me a blank look.
My girlfriend is always stressed i tell her to do a 1 green forward... she gets confused and more stressed... too sad.

Did you have a wave 1 metal shoping cart? The light weight plastic interceptor cart? The dubbel-decked bomber cart with extra upgrade slots and slam action? The swarmy three wheeled cart? Or did you use an old rickety, five-wheeled one without the coin-lock-upgrade?

I always use the acrylic shopping basket that I won at Regionals last year.
I didn't actually win Regionals.
