The ones I've found have been long and tedious, plagued by wrong interpretations of the rules etc.

Ohhh that is a good one. . . Hmmmm sadly I don't have the equipment to do this. . . What would I need to get started and what would the costs be?

Hmmmmmm I will try some videos via phone, quality will likely be shoddy the first few but it should get better.

I've been considering making some time-lapse battle reports - organising the people to do it is tricky though.

I am thinking of doing either mock battles or voice overs so that I can do a commentary of the strategy used, my opinions, etc. Eventually I hope to add in a few different people so people have variety.

What I mean by mock battles is, scenarios that involve ships, positioning, dial setting, etc. This will give people a visual concept and an explanation of at least why I do the things I do.

I find quality Armada videos are harder to come by than X-Wing videos or things like 40K. Perhaps because of the fact its a new game.

I used to do 40K battle reports on an iPhone 4S. The quality was very good. The only hitch was that it's battery only lasted so long (iPhone batteries are generally terrible when the thing is actually being used) but I got around that by just keeping it plugged in and using an extension cord. A Galaxy would probably do you just fine.

Allen Lancing is a guy I've recently been watching on YouTube for Armada Battle Reports. His stuff is pretty good and entertaining, but still not anything near what a channel like Team Covenant does for X-Wing.

The first video I saw of Armada was the GenCon 2014 Demo they did back in August of last year, and that's what got me hooked on the game ever since.

I really hope they start doing tournament coverage of Armada like they do for X-Wing once Regionals and Worlds start happening.

I certainly appreciate what Allen Lancing has done for the game so far, but I have a hard time with his videos. Something about his voice I have a hard time with as well, throws me off. Not his fault. Just a thing. Hoping for some high quality stuff soon.

I think my first segment will be on some rules and how they work. It would help people who have questions for things like what happens if a fighter is in an obstacle, or split between a ship. Or for things like ramming. . . Ohhh and I get to rant! I love ranting!
