Also this game is not selling like hotcakes in my neck of the woods (New England) and doesn't need this kind of negative PR.
Conquest Facebook page is asking you to leave if...
...and I was banned for asking if this was FFGs official stance since the group uses their images....
Several new Conquest groups have popped up in the wake of all of this. I encourage anyone concerned with the management of the original group (even if you agree with it politically, hopefully you can still see how poorly handled it all was, and this certainly isn't the first time it's been an issue) to join.
The largest (currently a little below 300 members):

A smaller group (about ~120 presently):

Looks like the original group is either no more, or is now a secret group (or I'm banned too). In any case, I can no longer see it.
EDIT: Looks like I was banned for being a voice of dissent. I stand by my principles.
Edited by CommissarFeeshI screenshotted the whole ordeal before it blew up. I have debated posting it online. I'll likely censor people's names before I do so. But, trust me, it's a complete disaster. A little king on a little hill who went on a power trip.
Here's where it started. Seems at least SOMEWHAT reasonable at this juncture... but it got much much worse. Of course referring to something as momentous as the recent SCOTUS decision as "trendy" is certainly taking a political stance but.. whatever. Just really disappointing. Even if you disagree with it, the tone of this language and actions on the group in the aftermath clearly demonstrates the moderator's stance, which is incredibly ironic.
Honestly, I haddn't even looked into a Facebook community for Conquest (I generally forget private pages/communities exist on that site) but now that this article drew my attention to their existence I joined the larger one mentioned to swell the ranks a bit, and to spite the defunct group for their actions.
Hey, now I'll have some interesting stuff to read.

I would just like to take a moment to stress that it wasn't the group itself that was the problem, but rather, the sole decision and actions of the page founder as seen in the link that WWPDSteven posted in the image above.
That being said, that original group is quickly dying, and myself and a great many others have already been banned by that moderator, in any case. So! I wholeheartedly recommend the new groups.
Edited by TheHiveTyrantFair, I shouldn't say "the group" like that when in reality it's the sole (or small number of) moderators. Either way, the one I signed up for has an interesting conversation going about todays Deadly Salvage preview, so I'm pretty happy.
So, in the end, the Facebook community is choosing this group as 'the group' for general use and game discussion. Just thought I'd link the group in this thread.

Just in case anyone has any doubt whatsoever about joining this group, I just want to say that it's an incredibly welcoming and extraordinarily friendly environment where all kinds of fantastic discussion and what not takes place. Frankly, it's even better than the old Conquest group (which was almost always great!), because we've managed to shrug off the single bad apple I've thus far experienced in the entirety of the Conquest community.
