Hey guys and girls,
So not a lot happens on this board (boo!) so I've got a fun exercise to just shoot around. The books are full of plot hooks, mysteries unsolved, plans unrealized, and objects yet described. Why don't we out these hooks with some interesting ideas?
For example:
Enemies of the Imperium (pg. 70) mentions Tevriel Vektesh as the leader of a Haemonculus coven on Kalf, responsible for the lightening fast raids that happen all over the planet. He is responsible for atrocities across the sector, but these attacks bare no resemblance to his previous work. They attack unimportant targets and retreat in the face of victory, obviously in pursuit of something or some goal.
Perhaps he is seeking an artifact rumored among the Dark Eldar to be buried under the sands of the desert planet, and waits for the Imperium to discover it - and suffer the consequences - so he doesn't have to. This could translate to the PC's squad having to investigate the location of his most recent attack, before figuring out what it is he is after. They may stumble upon the item's location, where they then must fight past whatever ancient and horrific defenses guard the artifact. Right as they do so, the Dark Eldar swoop in to steal it from them. The PCs must fight their way out of the ancient facility, contact their evac, and escape with the item lest the capricious Vektesh use it for is own nefarious ends.
