So, everyone has always been complaining about the lack of updated FFG avatars. I noticed in a different thread that someone had an R2 one that I hadn't seen before, so I excitedly went to go check out the new ones.

Just to find that the X wing category no longer exists??? They seem to have added RPG avatars, but removed the X wing ones. Can someone else please confirm?

Does that mean that no one else can ever have my Y wing picture? And if I ever changed it, I would lose it for forever? Sad.

Seems that way yes. I looked and I don't see X-Wing anywhere.

The card-games are missing too.

Maybe an update is incoming.

Or there are licensing issues with those images being used on the forum?

We'll have to wait and see.

What a bummer! Removing those images flies in the face of the purpose of avatars: unique, visual identification.

Though, I've very, very glad to FINALLY get a Gand avatar. I've only been waiting 4 years or so.

I sifted through the entire collection to find the ugliest avatar I could. I have no idea what this dog deer thing is, but I've never seen anyone with the same.

After cycling through X-wing related avatars, I am very happy with this happy creature :-D

Hmm. I don't see why they couldn't use some images on the forums. hopefully X-Wing will be back with way more than just art from wave 1.

I want the art from Adrenaline Rush for an avatar!

Also Imperial Assault needs an avatar selection.

I've been swapping my avatar ever few days for the last week or so - just looking to see what all is out there. Doesn't look like we're going to see the ships - it all seems to be faces now.

I want Armada Avatars.

Just as I was planning to switch back to a ship avatar, too. Hopefully we'll see X-Wing representation again, and before too long.
