I would most certainly be down for pick-up games.

I'd be in. Don't have my demo schedule yet so can't be sure if I can make it to any specific date. My wife may even join if it's in the evening.

Maybe a forum tournament then. Possibly in a hall where most of the event will be done in the evening except the 24 hour Magic events. Or possibly in a lobby. Im stay at the JW. Anyone else connected?

Im not real happy with the limited Xwing this year.

I believe there is normally a free gaming space near a connected hotel Starbucks. Don't ask me which hotel, too many connected and II didn't usually stay there longer than it took to walk through and collect a coffee on the way to the main hall tables.

We did an unofficial international tournament for Battletech there last year between Michigan and Ontario on the Wednesday night.

Gen Con forum moderator already freakin on a possible orginized event nonticketed. So I decided to no longer talk about it in their sicial media.

So Im invisioning an Xwing Fly Casual Flash Mob in an empty space in the card hall say 9pm on Saturday?

More detail upon scouting the area and choosing a good spot. Maybe set up a seperate FB. page for mass notification.

Ofcourse I dont classify 4 people as a mob but.....

And it could easily be held in any of the open game spaces and not worry about being ticketed. I think we would be lucky to see 10. But I would love to dwarf their ticketed event with a huge spontanious crowd in a late night tournament.

That'll teach'em.

We could always look to invade a hotel meeting room depending on the ToD for such events. Cheers to the OP for getting this on the scopes.
