Enter The Hive: New Twin Shadows preview

The new Imperial command deck is pretty great too.

This could be amazing.

That does look pretty awesome. Especially in any trooper builds.

More cleave and blast is welcome. It is what will keep swarm squads in check. I really like the elite royal guards.

Kinda dissapointed that the elite heavy stormtroopers didn't get a 2nd ability. Still, they give you more HP for 1 less the deployment cost. A good way to counter a blast heavy build.

Love the new Imperial Class. Attaching Field Officer to a squad of Storm Troopers to dish out free movements for your stronger units could be brutal on the Rebels.

Edit:

Just seen it exhausts the card. I thought each Stormie could dish out a movement action to act as three officers in one activation. Ach well.

These are the first elite cards to only have one (text) ability right?

What did you want added? they have Blast 2 and DMG 2 two of the best surges in the game.

How is it a good way to counter a good heavy blast Build? when ever I play Rebel Sabs they are never together. Its a good counter vs Officers/Guards for imperials.

Let's not forget the most important part...:

In our next preview, we’ll take a look at the galaxy’s most dangerous bounty hunter: Boba Fett!

We need that scum!

meine gott!.....loving the stormies!!

Yay! I was right about the Heavy Stormtroopers & Tusken Raiders being the next preview!

I'm impressed by the damage output of the troopers and raiders, I was hoping for a 3 figure raider card though.

Wish they'd previewed a few command cards.

I just want to see R2 and C-3PO!

Help me remember. Do any of the base game tiles have desert on them?

I suppose it's dependant on what is a 'desert' tile, it's not been defined in rules terms yet. I would expect that the exterior 'Tatoine' style tiles could come under this classification, but it's not strictly a desert environment... We'll have to see.

Yes there is one whole side of the tiles with desert on it. ( in the core set)

Great, would suck if you would neer be able to use them in the core missions

Hmm. Will we be able to deploy the hired guns as well in the campaign without buying the figure packs?

Hmm. Will we be able to deploy the hired guns as well in the campaign without buying the figure packs?

Probably not. Theres been no mention of tokens or even the deployment cards outside of that figure pack. Unless they are in the wave 3 expansion.

Then they would be the first deployment card which does not have a token and will be completely unavailble without the villain pack?

Yes, just like the wookies.
