Two 400 point Imperial builds 2VSD 1GSD - comments welcome

These are two variants of the same core idea.

The broad strategy in both fleets is for Screed's flagship to hang back at low speed, control a segment of the field, and fire long from its front arc using Gunnery Team. The Victory I does carrier duty bringing the fighter swarm forward, tie up Rebel squadrons, and jointly bring down Rebel ships with its black dice and Rhymer. The Gladiator serves as a flanker, a hammer to the VSD I's anvil. Screed's flagship can act as a reserve if the hammer and anvil get in trouble.

Not sure if should stay swarm heavy or bomber heavy for the squadrons since Rhymer turns everyone into a bomber.

Didn't spend too much time thinking about the Objectives.

Swapped out fighter complement for what Reddit user acegard calls a "Rhymerball". Dropped Warlord on the Victory II as Screed and Leading Shots tends to adequately compensate for any unwanted rolls.

I definitely prefer the first Squadron choice over the second. Too many Bombers to me.

Yup, who so many the same squadron type. I saw a list with 5 advanced plus vader and two 2VSD.

The four bombers actually worked pretty well. They pummelled an Assault Frigate to bits. I actually want to swap out Mauler for Howlrunner, although both he and Soontir served well to divert attention away from the bombers.
