What? I was just saying they are cats.

My homemade Space Marine chapter is "The Mean Kitties". They are badass!

Dude... Seriously... Come on... This isn't an active forum of idiots here. We all know what you meant. But the term that you used was highly innapropriate. It's childish to say the least.

Oh, really?

Tell me more about the forum, please!

I'm dying to hear and learn from your vast experience and titanic intellect.

Bah, go mind your own business, bro.

Come on man, you know this forum isn't full of immature, bratty, childish fops. It has intelligent, sophisticated, kind members.

With this argument going the way it is, I can't tell who's being serious and who isn't.

This is the internet, bro!
No one is being serious.

But basically:
Cameron hates me (He can't take a joke and I can't take people who can't take a joke)

And Cyclocius is an old friend. (We've been posting on the same forums for generations)

The topic is, IIRC, a Space Marines movie (or something like that)

The only useful thing on the topic was to learn that Ex Libris is still around!

im serious on the internet if its my opinion i want it heard and not shot down or surrounded by childishness

Then make your own forum and hang a sign "Only patronizing nerds" at the door, mate. =)

Meanwhile, bring my Mr. Potato head and my pacifier... I'm getting bored again.

ill see your mr. potato head and raise you set of lincoln logs

Oh?

Okay... I think you are bluffing... Since I'm out of everything, I offer my daughter.

She's not the smartest kid, but she can do the dishes without breaking everything and - of course - is a decent sacrifice to the blood god.

im sorry im a desciple of ctzeetch i dont accept human sacrafices -folds hand- though i did have five aces since im an architect of fate

Okay... You win.

I'm giving up, now... I concede the point I'm childish and impolite.

...

But the Space Marines are still wussies...

Okay, you can all go back to the topic. (What was it again?)

the fact that there will be an Ultramarines movie something i want to see. and hopefully we all do

I will also watch it and love it...

But I fear it wont be dark enough...

A hollywoodlikeblockbuster.

Being Space Marines, there will be a lot of gung-ho action... It might even have a... *argh* happy ending...

I think the 40k universe deserves a few happy endings so what if the marines win they will die eventually.

Well, I disagree. Grimdark is dark. I like it that way. Of course I don't speak for everyone.

If portraying it with an happy ending, should be a happy movie with few problems and concerns with missing milk to put in their tea but with a happy ending that they found it.

Not to be mean..Have we? Is it the Ordo? Black Library? Not been on either in a while...

Or....Facepunch?

I think the later applies to pretty much anything, except Batman.

Considering it's a CGI movie which requires a lot of time and effort to create, and Games-Workshop's need to have a death grip on their intellectual properties, I doubt that it will be a Hollywood action movie. The fact that Codex Pictures is responsible for the Bionicle dvd trilogy kind of scares me... I'm not sure that they have the style or skill required to bring 40k to life.

I presume nobody else read this and started picturing Black Templars checking their CRUSADE FRIDGE only to find there was no milk, so they CRUSADED to the local Co-Op, kicked down a wall (Even though the door was open), sliced a few civvies apart, gingerly picked up some milk, calmly paid for it, CRUSADED through another wall to leave, made their cup'o'tea and declared the CRUSADE over.

Now that's a movie idea I can get behind.

All those. I've been gone for a long while as well, but I will always remmember your witty remarks.

Just promise there will be no love story with Adeptus Sororitas involved.

I would not live through it.

We should fund it. It'd be infinitely more popular than an Ultramarines movie.
