Tough Outer Shell + Self-Sacrifice

The way I see it, there's two possible outcomes : Either the Self Sacrifice effect fizzles because my opponent cannot add cards to his hand due to activating the Tough Outer Shell First Form, or it creates a Mortal Strike/Iceberg Circular situation, where it worked because I added a card to THEIR momentum and vice-versa.

I'd still like to get confirmation in how to properly play it out before I even attempt at building that deck.

And I got rid of my 69 point total just to ask that question.

Self-Sacrifice says your opponent adds the cards to their hand, so it gets stopped by TOS.

Note the difference in wording - Iceberg Circular says you add the card to their momentum.

Just to put a nail in the coffin

TOS: " players may not draw cards or add cards to their hand during a Combat Phase ."

SS: Your opponent adds X non-character cards from their staging area to their hand.

Additional question: How do you make a quote block appear without actually quoting a message? It just looks so much nicer than little double-apostrophes.
