Lord British, no, my position is pretty much exactly the opposite. My characters seem to be chronically underpaid and, when running around with obscene amounts of money, there are plenty of places in which to spend it. The problem comes from expecting the party to pay for upgrades, et al, without providing them a means of acquiring money with which to do so.
